Set in a quiet rural spot, Rose Lodge is a contemporary self-build renovation designed with both drama and warmth. Clad in a striking mix of charred timber, corten steel, and zinc, the exterior sets the tone for a home full of thoughtful contrasts. Inside, every detail was meticulously considered - from the sultry powder room layered with smoked mirror, copper, and Mutina tiles, to the deep blue TV snug hidden behind a secret door. A seamless rooflight over the primary shower offers moments of calm, while long corridors and clever connections draw the eye to the landscape beyond. The result is a modern family home that feels grounded, expressive, and deeply livable.
